F.H. Hamidi joined Sweet Law Firm after passing the Oklahoma bar exam in April 2020. Her practice areas include medical malpractice defense and general insurance defense.
Hamidi entered law school with her sights set on a career in health law. Soon after obtaining a B.S. in Kinesiology from Oklahoma City University, Hamidi began volunteering in local free clinics. She then traveled to Nicaragua with Fundación Manos Juntas to serve the Western Hemisphere’s poorest patients through pop-up clinics. Hamidi worked in a pediatric urgent care and as an emergency department scribe prior to law school.
In December 2019, Hamidi earned a Juris Doctor degree and a Health Law certificate from The University of Tulsa College of Law. While there, Hamidi served as an Admissions Ambassador, an Executive Director on the Board of Advocates, and a staff editor on the Energy Law Journal, headquartered in Washington, D.C. She also competed on the Native American Law Student Association appellate team at Nationals in Tuscon, AZ.
Hamidi’s community involvement includes representing neglected children through the Oklahoma Lawyers for Children organization and serving on Oklahoma City Museum of Art’s Moderns Board for the 2020-2022 term. She is a member of the Robert J. Turner American Inn of Court and the Oklahoma Bar Association’s Diversity Committee.
