Attorneys Sweet and Hubbard Receive Defense Verdict in Federal Court
Sweet Law Partners Kyle Sweet and Naureen Hubbard won a defense verdict for a large health system in a brain injured baby case in Federal Court in the Eastern District of Oklahoma. The case was a long, multi-week trial including a considerable number of testifying experts, with Plaintiff seeking a $75-$100 million judgment on a $50 million life care plan. Kyle and Naureen took over the case from another defense firm after a treating nurse had serious testimonial issues in her deposition. Sweet Law worked hard to turn the case around and those efforts were rewarded with a Defense Verdict, rendered in favor of the firm’s client in late July, 2019.
