Kyle Sweet received a defense verdict in a catastrophic neurological case for an Oklahoma physician. The case involved an allegation of failure to diagnose osteomyelitis in the C4-5 spinal region on plain film, as well as failure to timely refer the patient out for a spinal surgery consult.

Plaintiff eventually had a subluxation and collapse at C4-5 impacting the spinal cord. The insurance carrier was a national medical malpractice carrier. The ultimate injury allegation was loss of sensation, loss of income and permanent disability. The Plaintiff asked the jury for $3.5 million dollars.
