Attorney Jasper Abbott has been selected for membership in The National Black Lawyers – Top 40 Under 40 for 2015.

The National Black Lawyers – Top 40 Under 40 is an invitation-only national organization that encourages and recognizes outstanding black lawyers under the age of 40 who exemplify superior leadership, reputation, influence and stature.

Forty black lawyers from each state are selected for membership each year. Selected nominees demonstrate superior leadership, reputation, influence, stature and profile as a black lawyer.

“Jasper Abbott joined our firm in 2012 and has been a vital team member in growing our practice to that of a regional law firm,” Sweet Law Founder Kyle Sweet said. “With offices in Oklahoma City, Tulsa and Denver, Colorado, Jasper leads our firm’s appellate practice, physician contracting, and managing associates in the firm’s legal research and writing. Jasper is on our complex trial team and has accumulated tremendous experience managing the trial process.”

Abbott attended The University of Kansas, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science. He was inducted into The Order of Barristers while attending law school and earned his Juris Doctor from The University of Oklahoma College of Law in May 2010.

Abbott is licensed to practice law in all Oklahoma state courts and in the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.
